Benjamin Franklin card assignment (Period 1)
After watching the video about Benjamin Franklin it is time to have some fun and create a card based on Benjamin Franklin's life and lessons he lived by.
You will create a card including the following information:
1. On the front of the card pick and write down a famous aphorism from Benjamin Franklin. Use this website: https://www.poorrichards.net/
2. Include an image of Benjamin Franklin on the front cover.
3. On the inside front cover you need to write five facts about Benjamin Franklin.
4. On the inside back cover you will write down one of the virtues he lived by. Select one of the virtues from the list provided in the Commonlit passage from his autobiography. Explain in a few sentences why you picked this virtue and how you could apply it to your own life.
5. On the back of the card make sure to include you name.
** You can earn up to three extra points if you share your card with another teacher and have them sign the back of your card. (One extra point per signature up to three.)
Project is due on September 28th.
